A chance came for an educational training/day trip to the V & A museum in London.
This was achieved with the help of our property manager, the lovely Cath, who used to work there and pulled a few strings to get us on a behind the scenes tour. We bundled into our mini bus, and had only got to the end of the driveway before some fool shouted ‘are we nearly there yet!’…. ( no prizes for guessing it was me…) Having safely arrived we were shown through the building and started the tour with a quick cuppa in the cafe. Without shadow of a doubt this is the most stunning Cafe I have ever been in. Mostly because of the William Morris wallpaper and tiles, and Burne-Jones stained glass windows. In my eyes, a Pre-Raphaelite dream team.
